Mehmet Akar a.k.a. M.AkaR was born in Turkey, Istanbul,1985.Mehmet got introduced to house music when he was still in middle school, an experience he’d never forget,which triggered his love and obsession 4 music. After recieving good feedback from his friends,he knew he was on the ‘’right track’‘,so he continued performing.

At the tender age he played lots of ‘’underground’’ parties, and small gigs, to get some DJ experience. In 2000 he prepared and presented his own show on a local radio station, this show, in which he performed his live-mixed house sets, started to draw the attention of many listeners. He soon achieved to become one of the best dj’s in Çanakkale, and the surrounding area, the opportunities to get some experience to play with famous djs came along soon after. Same year he selected as one of the artist of 2-Two dj booking agency, which is active in Turkey’s Marmara region.There he did good things with 2-two production.

2003 he moved to Eskisehir to continue his education, this new life kept Mehmet away from proffesional dj-ing. Listening to deep dark sounds while studying, influenced his style of music in such a way, it made him create his «Deep Puzzle» series, in which he uses deep dark progressive house music. In 12 series he showed the best examples of this genre to the listeners, and this gave the oppertunity to play as a guest dj at several events all over the country. Same year he established Turkey’s best electronic music internet radio : DeepSounds Radio and digital label DS Records.

In 2009 Mehmet selected Artist of the Week on frisky radio. Same year He cancaled all radio shows and his own projects because of some private reasons. After a 6 month break due, he return to djing with new radio show 2nd Resurrection on Frisky radio.

He started to work on his own productions recently. so it won’t take long before we can enjoy some productions!!!
